education sector, calling for after-school tutoring businesses to restructure as nonprofits, banning their presence on public listings, allowing tutoring only on weekdays with a limited number of hours , forcibly nationalizing many private schools and banned the teaching of foreign textbooks, with the aim of reducing the percentage of elementary and middle school students attending private schools from over 10% to under 5%.
